  21.      ToyBox II is a copyrighted program distributed as shareware. 
  22. Distributors approved by the Association of Shareware 
  23. Professionals (ASP) may immediately distribute ToyBox II.  Others 
  24. wishing to distribute ToyBox II for payment must first contact 
  25. Virtual Magic Software for authorization.  Not-for-profit users 
  26. groups may distribute ToyBox II, and charge a fee for copying and 
  27. disks, without prior authorization.  Electronic bulletin board 
  28. systems (BBSs) may distribute ToyBox II without prior 
  29. authorization.
  30.      We suggest using TOY202.* as the archive filename for the 
  31. ToyBox II version 2.02 files.

  54. ToyBox II is a new graphical DOS menuing system with the powerful 
  55. features adults need, but so simple, even young children can use 
  56. it to start their own programs without assistance.  ToyBox II 
  57. displays large 3-D buttons with colorful, Microsoft Windows- 
  58. compatible icons to represent your DOS and Windows programs.  So 
  59. instead of trying to remember cryptic DOS commands, you or your 
  60. child can press a single key or click a mouse button to start any 
  61. program.  To make things easier for small hands, all mouse buttons 
  62. have the same effect and no double-clicks are required.  You can 
  63. also set options that prevent inquisitive young power users from 
  64. leaving ToyBox II or accessing any areas you don't want them to 
  65. get into.
  66.      Behind the scenes, ToyBox II's features are anything but 
  67. childlike:  multiple levels of nested menu pages that can hold 
  68. several thousand programs; passwords for programs and pages; 
  69. hotkeys; variable program parameters; file pick-lists for easily 
  70. adding programs; and a built-in icon editor for designing your own 
  71. icons.  ToyBox II can run any COM, EXE, or BAT file, or any DOS 
  72. command, and it does not remain in memory while it is running your 
  73. programs.  Superb EGA/VGA graphics.

  92. VERSION HISTORY
  93. ---------------

  95.      Version 2.00 was the initial release of ToyBox II, a much 
  96. more powerful follow-on to the original ToyBox program.  Version 
  97. 2.01 fixed one small bug and made some minor changes to the 
  98. graphical interface.  This version had very limited distribution.  
  99. Version 2.02 fixes another small bug and makes some more very 
  100. minor changes to the graphics.
